On August 22, a three-day training seminar on the topic: "Monitoring of State Development Programs Conducted by Civil Society Entities" concluded in the city of Pavlodar, as part of a project financed by the European Union.
The training was organized by the Public Foundation "Information Resource Center" of Almaty.
NGO leaders, civil society representatives, bloggers, and activists from Pavlodar and Pavlodar region were invited to participate in the training.
During the training, participants gained a renewed perspective on the role and significance of monitoring in the effective implementation of state development programs, as well as the influence of civil society organizations on strengthening internal political dialogue and consolidating all stakeholders in the dynamic development of our country, successfully addressing current and prospective socio-economic challenges.
Today, it is civil society organizations and activists that are capable of drawing the state’s attention to pressing social issues and taking concrete actions to address them. It is important to note that public monitoring is not only about information gathering; it is a tool that allows citizens to observe the implementation of state programs and projects, influence their effectiveness, and identify problems that require solutions. Improving citizens' well-being and increasing the national economy's growth in modern conditions require more progressive mechanisms, and the implementation of state programs is an important socio-economic task for each region and the state as a whole.
